I am watching 16 And Pregnant on MTV (don't judge me lol). The latest episode got me thinking, and i hope and pray this will NEVER happen to us but you never know. Anyways, in the episode this 17 year old girl moves to Texas with her dad leaving her mother behind in Jersey. She gets knocked up by a 15 year old boy. When she tells her dad he kicks her out and she is forced to stay with her boyfriend. Her father wants NOTHING to do with her, doesn't even want to see the baby. Her bf's mother is a pill popping abusive addict. Lemme just get to the point. If your daughter got knocked up before the age of 18 would you kick her out? Me, i wouldn't. She is my child. YES, i would be livid beyond words, but she is my flesh and blood and she is carrying my grandchild. Remember, she is still a child. I would want her to focus on finishing High School. Once she turns 18 then yes she needs to step up and start doing things on her own. No more baby-ing her ESPECIALLY when she has a child of her own.
On another note...If your SON knocked up some chick and her parents kicked her out would you allow her to stay with you? I would take her in. She IS carrying my grandchild. Craig said he would but it would also have to depend on our finacial situation as well...
Iono. just ranting. Makes me sad to see that a parent could just dump their own flesh and blood out of the house like that, when they will need you the most...
